The hotel "Les Amis"
The hotel "Les Amis" is a recently refurbished 'C' class hotel. It is situated between two hills on the outskirts of Athens, 2 kilometers from the beach and the center of Varikiza. Should you wish to visit the center of Athens, 16km distant, use the bus day ticket or a taxi. 

The hotel, which is open 24 hours, has 15 rooms similar in style to that shown in the picture and there is private parking. Each splendidly decorated room has air-conditioning or heating for the winter, private bathroom, television, video, telephone and there is a pleasant aroma from the adjacent pine trees. Nearby you will find car-hire facilities and some good tavernas (the best at 200 metres, see picture) with a truly warm atmosphere. The hotel "Les Amis" will surprise you, not to mention the rates that are especially friendly for Athens. There are special tariffs for parties of 10 persons or more. The hotel "Les Amis" accepts major credit cards and 200 meters from the hotel you will find a bank and the supermarket "AB" for those last minute purchases.

Hotel price list

The hotel is on the route of the express bus No.E96 that runs to and from Piraeus every 20 minutes during the day and every 40 mins at night. Please note that the express bus does not stop at 'DILOFO' which is the stage for the hotel (see below). Equally, use a taxi which takes 25 minutes (approx the same time as the bus)   

From the airport by bus:
From the airport take the express bus No. E96 (ΠΙΡΑΕΘΣ) and get off at 'EKKLISIA VARIS' (ΕΚΚΛΙΣΙΑ ΒΑΡΙΣ) station which is about 1km from the hotel. Then catch bus 170 or 171 (they run every 10 minutes) to the 'DILOFO' (ΔΙΛΟΦΟ) stage (5min.). Hotel "Les Amis" is 50m on the other side of the road. At the airport buy a 'day ticket' for EUR 3.60 for the 20 minute (15km) journey to the hotel. This ticket is valid for unlimited travel within 24 hours on buses, trolleys and the metro and can be used the following day for onward travel to Piraeus.

From Piraeus by bus:
Arriving at Piraeus by ferry take express bus No. E96 (Αεροδρομτο/Airport) to 'GLIFADA' (ΓΛΙΦΑΔΑ) bus station and change there to 149 or 170 which goes direct to 'DILOFO' (ΔΙΛΟΦΟ) stage where the hotel will be found 50m on the right.
