If the weather is suitable, Andreas will organise an unforgettable day out
by caique (a small Greek boat) to the neighbouring islands of Kimolos and
Polyegos. Leaving in the morning from the harbour at Pollonia (10 mins walk) Andreas and Captain Augusti will first take you to one of the magnificent beaches on the uninhabited island of Polyegos where there is plenty of time to sunbathe, swim or schnorkel with Andreas as he collects the fish and sea urchins for lunch. The 'Tria Adelphis’ (3 Brothers) will then take you around the island of Polyegos to see the fantastic rock formations and caves before mooring in a small bay for more swimming and an unforgettable picnic under the shade of tamarisk trees. In the afternoon, Captain Augusti will sail around the rest of the island before calling in at Psathi, the port of Kimolos, for drinks at one of the harbourside tavernas. Depending on the time of the year, there is the chance of seeing the best sunset of your life as the Caique crosses the channel back to Pollonia. |
