THE FAMILY   

Your hosts: Brigitte is originally from Bavaria and her husband Andreas Mallis is from a large Milosian family. Brigitte speaks excellent English and Greek and Andreas also speaks very good English. Brigitte manages the apartments as well as helping her husband in his greenhouses. Andreas is a Market-Gardener and his produce is in demand all over Milos because it is truly ‘organic’, grown naturally without the use of pesticides. Of course, his guests have as much free produce as they wish including several delicate varieties of Goat’s cheese made by his family. When the weather is suitable Andreas will organise an unforgettable day out by caique (a small Greek boat) to the neighbouring islands of Kimolos and Polyegos where there are unspoilt beaches only reachable by boat. For a picnic lunch Andreas and Captain Augusti make a typically Greek picnic for their guests.
