AROUND THE HOUSE  

There is interest all around Andreas’s apartments. In the fields graze the sheep and goats cared for by Andreas’s dad, Georgos. At milking times it can be an enjoyable and educational experience for children to help Georgos with his menagerie of animals when their parents can keep them in view whilst having some time to themselves. For many years Andreas’s mother Maria has been using traditional methods and recipes to turn this natural chemical-free milk into wonderful cheese that the family offer free to their guests. You cannot buy this cheese in the shops.
In keeping with the traditions of the Greek islands Andreas and Brigitte have many friendly cats who find warm places to lounge in the sun.
